CornerStone Business Park: New Construction & Building Opportunities

As we bid farewell to the former Chrysler Stamping Plant, we look forward to welcoming CornerStone Business Park to the city of Twinsburg. CornerStone Business Park, a brand new modern business park, will soon occupy the spot where the former stamping plant once operated. Just as the Chrysler Stamping Plant stood as the cornerstone of Twinsburg for many years, CornerStone Business Park will now take its place as the new foundation and cornerstone of the city of Twinsburg.

History of Chrysler Stamping Plant Twinsburg

The stamping plant was in Twinsburg for 53 years. Many families, as well as extended family members were employed by the Chrysler stamping plant. Financially, for the community, the Chrysler plant provided about 13% of the city’s income tax revenue. The year the plant left, this meant $2.3M revenue loss. At the height of their employment, the Chrysler plant had about 4,000 employees, though this number decreased over the years due to automation. The stamping plant’s closing was not only a loss monetarily, but an emotional loss to the Twinsburg community as well.

The City of Twinsburg was ecstatic when Scannell Properties & DiGeronimo purchased the former stamping and made their goals known. Among those goals, to make the property productive, bring employment back to the city & make it a premier location within the city of Twinsburg.

"I think the name CornerStone says it all. This business park will be the corner stone of Twinsburg once again. It is a great boon for the community, and it’s a great morale booster! We are ecstatic and pleased to be partners with DiGeronimo’s & Scannell Properties." Katherine Procop, Mayor, City of Twinsburg

Land Available For New Construction & Build To Suits
CornerStone Business Park offers building opportunities in the form of new construction, as well as 164 acres of land available for build to suits. The building and land opportunities at CornerStone are many, and ideal for both growing businesses needing more space, as well as established organizations with custom building needs.

Power for CornerStone Business Park will be supplied by First Energy, and gas will be provided by Dominion East Ohio.
